Early Years Practitioner / Nursery Practitioner

Location: Stanmore, London, UK

Employment Type: Permanent

Hours: 40 hours per week (Shift Basis)

Salary: £12.71 per hour( Negotiable depending on experience)

Our client is a warm and welcoming nursery setting based in Stanmore, London, who are seeking an experienced and passionate Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated childcare professional who enjoys creating a nurturing environment where children can learn, develop, and thrive. The successful candidate will support children’s learning through engaging activities, strong relationships, and high-quality care in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding care, support, and supervision for children within the nursery environment.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage children’s development.
  • Support children’s learning journeys in line with EYFS requirements.
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and families.
  • Maintain high safeguarding standards and follow nursery policies.
  • Work effectively as part of a supportive team while contributing ideas and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare or above.
  • Minimum 3 years’ childcare or nursery experience.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
  • Confident planning and delivering activities.
  • A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach towards children.
  • Professional, reliable, and committed to maintaining high standards.
